Why is that pathetic? These are people who did more the most good, smart, people did ( left, watched on tv, out of windows or even from back of crowd - not smart) - they actually stayed and helped, avoided the bystander effect, and faced a mob.

I'm glad the Canucks are classy enough to throw then a "thataboi", in a time when character was tested, they excelled, etc.

Its pathetic because they honour a few (which is fine) what bothered me was how they went about it, they talked about vancouver being an honorable place and how they came together after the loss. Did they forget about the riots? And the riots weren't started by the taliban, this isn't 911 here, it was idiotic and childish. Of course nurses are gonna help the hurt, god, that's their job.
