Gabriel Landeskog
Solid H2H Stats so far. On pace for about 40+ Points, 150+ Hits, 120+ SHTOI, 250+ SOG.
I'm rebuilding and this is a key piece for me. The ideal deal would involve an NHL (maybe 1 or even 2 depending) + Prospects/Picks.
PM if interested.

As expected. Let me know if you have an offer/who you will make available if you are serious.Shep wroteCOLONHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Re: Gabriel Landeskog
Meh, based on the way the league is going lately, I can only assume Perry, Gormley, and Bryzgalov would be the starting point.

Had a couple of hits so far. Nothing worth jumping on yet. Keep em coming guys.
Re: Gabriel Landeskog
Hahahha just read shep's post and I snickered a lil, immediately following a 2 year old half a seat away burst out in laughter.
Made me laugh.
Moving Hall for just one of those pieces doesn't make sense to me - sure are a few GM's telling me how dealing him for one lesser player who is more of a grinder would make me win.

Re: Gabriel Landeskog
Essentially, Nick wanted Kessel + Landeskog for Hall + something that is not on his roster/tandradi and I said no. I offered Nick Phil Kessel for Hall straight and it didnt seem to be close to him. So now he feels the need to tell the whole world for attention.

Re: Gabriel Landeskog
I would NEVER deal Kessel for Hall, and I'm not just saying that in light of this year, that would have been my answer last year as well. Kessel was a superior talent at 18, and is now playing like an MVP, shiv is more than justified in saying no to that offer...
Re: Gabriel Landeskog
I think Shiv is justified in asking for a lot for Kessel, but Landeskog? I'm not too sure. I tried, was rebuffed, but not without some questionable circumstances that rose afterwards (not attacking you, Shivvers).
Re: Gabriel Landeskog
Or rather... Depends which offer you're talking about, the talks were nice/fine/honest and to the point.
Was annoying to be told, yet again, that it's a 'fact' Gabriel (or any other strong 2-way forward) would make me win more then Hall does. yes he does help my shtoi and hits more then hall, that is a fact. LOL

You have an amazing team Nick. But your homerism for certain players and your inability to make that tough trade will impede your chances of winning.Nick wroteCOLONOr rather... Depends which offer you're talking about, the talks were nice/fine/honest and to the point.

Re: Gabriel Landeskog
I've built a team of my fav players and have never implied anything else.
Kessel is playing well and I love the guy when he scores for the leafs, he's also insanely streaky and far from a personal fav. Gabriel looks really good as advertised he's scoring reasonably well, smart all around game, and is physical - and is a guy I like. But alone neither has the potential impact of Taylor hall, which is exactly why you want to do the trade on that basis Shiv.

Re: Gabriel Landeskog
BS...Kessel not only has as much potential as Taylor Hall, he has more...At 18 he was compared by scouts to Crosby, and were it not for horrible attitude would have gone no. 1 in one of the most top heavy classes in NHL history. That potential is finally coming to fruiton now, you can call it a streak all you want, but it`s been close to 30 games of sheer dominance dating back to last season.

Re: Gabriel Landeskog
I would have jumped on Kessel for Hall straight in your position. I'm being a dumbass right now trying to rebuild for 2-3 years down the road. You want to win. But you want to hold Hall & your great pieces and try to acquire other Team's top pieces without giving up as much value. That gets old quick. And why you wouldn't want Kessel instead of Hall to win this year is beyond me.

Re: Gabriel Landeskog
To put Kessel`s dominance into perspective, his ppg + season at the University of Michigan at 17 (51pts in 39 games), accumulated largely on the third line was considered a massive dissapointment....Those 51 points ranked second on the team in scoring, behind a 20 yr old Ryan Potulny with 3 more games played, and ahead of current NHLers, Ryan Stoa (25), Blake Wheeler (23) and Alex Goligoski (39pts), all of whom were older than Kessel that season.
