I was refering to last year...Nick wroteCOLONlol @ actually posting that sample size Billy.
More BS, FOW, Hits, Pims, Shtoi
Richards 20 more points, but for twice the cap.
Real Life not Close,
H2H debatable, but not close when you consider the difference between Grossman+Buff for Kaberle.

Sample Size? Do you even know what that means? H2H Weiss has been every bit as good if not better than Richards over the last couple of years.Nick wroteCOLONlol @ actually posting that sample size Billy.

Still don't think that statement is far off, IMO B.Richards is a different realm of player then Weiss.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONlol @ claiming Richards is ALOT better than Weiss.

Nope. Richards has been much better.SuperMario wroteCOLONSample Size? Do you even know what that means? H2H Weiss has been every bit as good if not better than Richards over the last couple of years.Nick wroteCOLONlol @ actually posting that sample size Billy.

Regarding Gordon, has he been significantly better this season? He didn't do anything special fantasy-wise last year. Not a comment on the deal as a whole, too big to make a worthwhile comment about.

In the NHL you have an easy argument. In BBKL, I'd easily take Weiss over Richards.Nick wroteCOLONIMO B.Richards is a different realm of player then Weiss.

Re: WSH/LAK
Guess it depends on what you judge then. Real life its obviously no contest (though I do think Weiss is one of the most underrated players in hockey), but it's reasonably close in h2h, richards has the edge, but he also makes close to 7 million in cap.Nick wroteCOLONStill don't think that statement is far off, IMO B.Richards is a different realm of player then Weiss.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONlol @ claiming Richards is ALOT better than Weiss.
You also need to consider that Stephen Weiss is one of my favourite players in the hockey, so that factors heavily into my evaluation of the two.

Re: WSH/LAK
He's been a beast, he leads the NHL in faceoff%, has been taking a shitload of draws (defensive zone, late in games, pk etc.), playing the top pk unit, getting some bs and hits, and even scoring a bit on the Yotes third line. Think David Steckel on the Leafs, that's the type of player Boyd Gordon has been on PHX.Mike wroteCOLON--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cool. Have seen him play a few games, and he's looked good. Also look forward to seeing a statistically significant sample ~10 games down the road.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONHe's been a beast, he leads the NHL in faceoff%, has been taking a shitload of draws (defensive zone, late in games, pk etc.), playing the top pk unit, getting some bs and hits, and even scoring a bit on the Yotes third line. Thanks for pointing out the salary cap is important. Never realized that before.SuperMario wroteCOLONMajor flaw.
Re: WSH/LAK
But regardless of cap hit Richards is significantly better than Weiss. Work if out to the dollar if you will, still better.

Weiss at 3.1M >> Richards at 6.7. And don't use your flawed valuation system to back up your argument.Mike wroteCOLONBut regardless of cap hit Richards is significantly better than Weiss. Work if out to the dollar if you will, still better.

Hey everybody Mike has a non-subjective method of evaluating players and it sucks! Just look at how shitty his team is!SuperMario wroteCOLONWeiss at 3.1M >> Richards at 6.7. And don't use your flawed valuation system to back up your argument.
