You lust after Adam like a rabid love struck puppy. It's ADORABLE.

You mean I like to build teams with NHL players and not grass-is-always-greener-prospects-aka-hfBoards?

Well, let's not forget the fact that you completely tore Adam down when I said I wanted Sutter. It was a good fit between the two of us -- you seemed to agree at a certain point too. After awhile, I decided, maybe it'll be best to watch Adam some more. You did mention a few things I didn't catch. FOWs, SHTOI. Adam will never be a PK'er; he'll likely never get a substantial number of faceoff opportunities - especially not with Roy in the mix. Strome, he'll be a winger most likely; but unlike Adam, he's noted for his PK acumen, and my hope is that the much higher skill level translates quickly to the pro-game. If he makes the team next year, my gut instincts will be proven sooner rather than later. He's also projected to get much bigger. Maybe the physical/nasty comportment will follow.

I also got a lot out of RNH. Got Brassard + Strome + Blacker. It's now Schenn + Strome + Blacker. IMO, with the prospects depth I had, it was a risk worth taking; especially if the upside favours my end.

Saying I tore Adam down is incorrect, on a 1:1 for Sutter I said it doesn't make sense for me (because of fow, shoti, bs)-> unless it was a cap influenced decision -> no doubt offensive decision goes to Adam

Love this deal for HS, and unlike Chris I think Strome is a lock to play down the middle, he is strong defensively and at his best offensively when playing down the middle, and setting up his wingers with creative and crisp passes. The Islanders also have a big hole in the middle on the second line, Bailey has proven incapable of filling the role, and Nielsen is no more than a 3.

Still think you should have taken it -- back then. Now, I'm not so sure. You got rid of Little and Sutter and lost a lot of FOWs + SHTOI.

And thanks, Kareem.

Not that I think you analyzed my trades incorrectly, however I want to point out that moving of Horton, okposo and OVy who don't pK at all, in comes
Laich & stafford who do pk, as well as stamkos who has done some (like 5min iirc).

Net faceoff loss no doubt - going to have to lose another guy soon too. But as Lon as Jordan is healthy I don't have anything to worth about.

Ps - I still like the okposo-Neielsen-grabner line, even though it's not together :-)

If you are relying on Stamkos to PK even semi consistently...

Horrible for chris, great rape for shiv.

Strome hopes to become what Luke already is... Makes little sense to me.
