Re: Trade: HAR/BUF
I dunno why you'd do this one Chris.... maybe a Moss fan?
If it was football and this was Randy Moss i could see why
Anyways, to each his own.

Re: Trade: HAR/BUF
Well I could use another winger on my team and he wasnt expensive and he is one year removed from a nice season, also i have 4 other first round picks and grabbed a prospect who could do something or fall aprt but thats the risk with a draft pick also i dont know it didnt seem bad

Roster player and a solid prospect. I overpaid on this one, IMO. I could use the 1 less contract and I like loading up on 1sts.facey wroteCOLONI dunno why you'd do this one Chris.... maybe a Moss fan?

Re: Trade: HAR/BUF
Shore = faltering prospect... I was a semi-fan going into draft year, not as high as he was selected but still, I liked his combination of a high belligerence level + skill.
& ye I know David is just 1 year removed form a good year... but his play this past year was soooooo 'meh'.

Re: Trade: HAR/BUF
I dont know in the coming days u might see me make some deals that people dont like because I dont care about what people think i want to enjoy my team and with the pick that i traded i had no idea who i was going to take at this point
Re: Trade: HAR/BUF
Well the current North American #28 (ignoring all players not playing on this side of the pond) is Jaden Schwartz, who's stock is likely rising after being named to the WJC tryout roster, and for anyone that has seen him play , I know with a later first I'd love to be looking at potential impact players; other players with solid impact potential IMO: Brock Nelson, Jordan Weal, Kirill Kabanov (??), & Beau Bennett -> all had at least one non-ideal trait, but they all have top end skill as well.
anyways.... roster players seem to be very cheap in this league, no need to pay above market value.

Re: Trade: HAR/BUF
Not that it matters at all, but here are the 28th Overall pick from 2003-2008
2008: Viktor Tikhonov
2007: Nick Petrecki
2006: Nick Foligno
2005: Matt Niskanen
2004: Mark Fistric
2003: Corey Perry
Not saying they are all great, but that's a pretty solid 28th pick in each of those years.

ye outside of Petrecki the #28 picks would all go earlier in their draft years lucky location perhaps?
Re: Trade: HAR/BUF
I prefer strategic planning
Petrecki is still going to be solid though.
