Re: Toronto Blue Jays - Everything Jays Related
The Jays have reportedly asked for the medical reports for Jonathan Broxton, he would be a good option on a short term deal (1 year) worth a couple million, and perhaps some incentives, though AA has spoken out against them (incentive based deals) in the past. Nathan is a good option as well, but at age 37 you have to wonder how much is left in that arm.
On another note, it will be exciting to follow the Yu Darvish situation, it remains to be seen whether the Nippon Ham Fighters will post him this summer or next, either way expect the Jays to be in hot pursuit, ditto with Yoenis Cespedes.

Nippon will most definitely post him this year. I can say that with 100% certainty. We'll hear about it before December.

Jays reportedly the front runners for Prince Fielders services! FAP FAP FAP

If this happens, there isn't another 3/4 in baseball that even comes close to Bautista/Fielder.

I said the Jays should make a legit run at signing Prince Fielder a couple of seasons ago.
Him and Bautista in the 3 and 4 slot would be fucking filthy.

Although the thought of Prince in a Jays uniform is exciting.. I think our money would be better spent on fixing our bullpen. Santos was a great start! I like our young offense/lineup enough to let that develop from within and fill holes in our bullpen..

Oh for sure, I'd absolutely love to have him on the team.
Just a fat guy making fat guy jokes.

I wouldn't bother going after Fielder. Guys of his body type don't age well at all.
Re: Toronto Blue Jays - Everything Jays Related
As Evan Longoria would say: He's not really a physically fit athlete

Braun on PEDs?! Ohhhh baseball....
Also, how can they give him the NL MVP award over Kemp (who many could argue had a better season than Braun) when they knew he failed these PED tests?
Makes me wonder about the NHL. I have a pretty funny feeling a lot of these guys are on all sorts of PEDs. I mean, every other major sport in North America seems to have an issue with them, why would hockey be any different?
