What? How?Tony wroteCOLONyippee ... you're turning the league into a joke
Re: PIT/MTL Rape x 2 for the Frenchman
I think Tony is joking? Your cycle on the picks was fine, you paid to get deals done, and could afford to as you sold very well earlier in the year....it's needed if you want to pull off this many big ones, and this many upgrades.SuperMario wroteCOLONWhat? No, not joking. Deals like this devalue assets (mostly picks in these cases) that lower tiered teams have little of, keeping them/us in the basement ... Shit like this cost me a 1st for Boucher in the offseason ... BOUCHER! The top 6 or so teams just continue to distance themselves from the rest and I don't see it changing ...

Re: PIT/MTL Rape x 2 for the Frenchman
Teams can be turned around. The problem is teams at the bottom don't invest in trying to get better. They keep trying to compete every year and nothing changes. If you actually sold some of your valuable pieces you could have a solid youth core capable of being 1) Flipped or 2) Developing in one or two years. But everyone is always trying to compete every year.Tony wroteCOLONNo, not joking. You could have just not traded for Boucher...I understand the frustration, but there are ways to improve, the less you have the greater the opportunity for innovation, and new ideas. You just need to find a flaw and exploit it, IMO that is what separates the good GM's from the rest, not asset distribution.
