Dunno about that, Shiv. I like Nash's skill as much as the next guy, but he's stuck in a shitty situation with an albatross of a contract. I just wonder if he's going to regress to the point of being more of a 60pts type of winger.SuperMario wroteCOLONEasy win for Nick.

Glad you think so Shiv, it was a hard deal for me to pull the trigger on; admittedly didn't feel easy for me.
Big contract, inconsistent h2h #, brutal NHL team...
I had cap burning a whole in my pocket.
Awesome player in NHL 2012.
Best player, however... that's a lot of gritty pieces to give up...any one of them starts to score (again) and their value is awesome.

Easy win for Nick...I have no idea how anyone gives up Rick Nash for a group of second and third tier players and prospects, but that is just me. Jaromir Jagr is the only really good piece going back and he's a dinosaur, maybe if Chris re-flips it will make more sense.

I think I see it from Chris' perspective: this improves his team immediately in the short-term. Why wouldn't he do it?

Frolik, and Bickell just like Nash are all having a terrible year, but I really like both of them...Jagr will more than likely get flipped, but if not still will help me (just as good as Nash really, but he is old old old) and I really like both Boone Jenner and Sondre Olden.
