It was tough to decide which deal I liked more, Meszaros or Spurgeon, a real head twister. Ultimately I determined that it was in my best interests to add a little bit and take the Meszaros deal, I just hope Spurgeon doesn't develop into a superstar and make me regret my decision.

Earlier, when I had cap I made a ridiculous offer of Kyle Clifford, Dougie Hamilton, Freddie Hamilton for Andrei Meszaros. I don't think people understand how easily I'm gonna get raped if you have that stud I need lol. I didn't have the cap after I traded for Hainsey but I did counter with Ron Hainsey, Freddie Hamilton, Kyle Clifford, NYI 3rd 2012.. but he decided to take your offer which is fine. I figured gaining a young stud like Clifford while not downgrading horribly from Meszaros to Hainsey would've gotten his attention but meh, shit happens!!
