isn't Elias the one centering Parise and Kovalchuk in recent games?Scott wroteCOLON Also, Henrique plays with the likes of Zach Parise and Kovy and Desharnais with Erik Cole and Max P. not ba but definitely not the quality Henrique skates with.

Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
Mik Is correct. Its been a little bit since Henrique came down to earth, and started centring the checking line often.
Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
Perhaps, but I just meant in general. And in most games I've watched, Henrique has played with Parise. The 2 of those guys seem to have awesome chemistrykyuss wroteCOLONisn't Elias the one centering Parise and Kovalchuk in recent games?Scott wroteCOLON Also, Henrique plays with the likes of Zach Parise and Kovy and Desharnais with Erik Cole and Max P. not ba but definitely not the quality Henrique skates with.
Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
Henrique was just confirmed to be playing between Parise and Kovy on twitter last night going forward. So...

Henrique hasn't been centering the big two, but he is tonight........Chris we understand your point of view on the trade I think.
Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
How? I upgraded at C and landed great depth on case of injury. I always overpay when I'm trying to win. And really, I hardly overpaid really at all. Staubitz fills hits and Pims that I need if certain guys get hurt, Reasoner is pretty underrated, but old. He gives me that extra C in case of injury as well. Value is a case by case basis. Just deal with guys who aren't retards if you don't want to overpay for players. SimpleShep wroteCOLONTHERE GOES VALUE OUT THE WINDOW AGAIN!
Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
And yes, Henrique was playing a lesser role because he was being eased back from injury. Henrique is NJ's 1st line C

Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
Desharnais has been pking pretty heavily the last week, though it may not be permanent. Playing next to Kovy and Parise is nice, but I don't think it lasts once Zajac returns. I'm glad you like the deal, but you don't improve all that much, IMO. Maybe moving forward you dominate, I dunno.Scott wroteCOLONDesharnais doesn't pk much at all, definitely gained big in that cat. Also, Henrique plays with the likes of Zach Parise and Kovy and Desharnais with Erik Cole and Max P. not ba but definitely not the quality Henrique skates with. Like i said, I paid a hefty price but it's worth it IMO! Stamkos, Henrique, Jstaal, Dubinsky, Gaustad up the middle! Get fucking boned!!

It is actually Elias, and then Zajac, but he likely doesn't return to that role until playoffs at the earliest.Scott wroteCOLONAnd yes, Henrique was playing a lesser role because he was being eased back from injury. Henrique is NJ's 1st line C
Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
Desharnais PK'd more last night then all of last week. And really, I love the deal.. Henrique is a big time upgrade over Desharnais no matter what anyone says. It's ok to be worried Kareem.. I'd be worried if I were you too buddy. No shame in it at all.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONDesharnais has been pking pretty heavily the last week, though it may not be permanent. Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
Possibly.. but an achilles tendon tear is a serious injury. Trust me, I tore mine in 2001 and it's never been the same. I wouldn't be counting on Zajac all that much from here on out but I hope for the best for him.Nick wroteCOLONCough Zajac cough
Re: Trade: CGY/NJD
Elias is better served on the 2nd line to give a threat there. Before Henrique went down, Elias was beasting on the 2nd unit. Why fuck with it?MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIt is actually Elias, and then Zajac, but he likely doesn't return to that role until playoffs at the earliest.Scott wroteCOLONAnd yes, Henrique was playing a lesser role because he was being eased back from injury.
