I gotta say, for all the shit I have given Josh, I'm very interested in seeing how his rebuild comes along. It's personally something I wouldn't bother doing because of the risks attached to his injured (and injury-prone) players, but it will be a good story line to follow.

17. Nashville Predators - Lucky this team is in the West. Offense seems to come from 2 players. Team MVP: Evgeni Malkin
Not sure how i'm supposed to be lucky to be in the Western conference (together with 15 other teams lol), especially when i'm part of the hardest division and probably had the toughest schedule (NJ, Toronto and Tampa as extraconference opponents).
Also interesting to figure out which one of Malkin, Gaborik and Zetterberg does not contribute on offense.
Nice post though.
Lol Mik, Ima let you finish but the NorthEast is the toughest division.
I'd say the NorthEast is not from the Western Conference

(again not going into the East/West dispute) .... that was to say teams in the West who are part of weaker divisions should be luckier than me, but no, according to Scott i'm the one team lucky to be in the West

Most teams in the West wouldn't make the post season in the East, I'm not entirely sure why Scott singled you out in particular. Perhaps it is because you believe the conferences are balanced (they aren't).

Must be because this year i faced three top-5 teams in the East (tampa, nj, tor) and went 21-22-5 vs them despite being #8 in my conference
btw, i never said the 2 conference are equal as of now; i'm simply maintaining the difference it's much smaller than you guys make it to be, and way smaller than last season.
Agree with my ranking, however the state of my team is not from mismanagement. I knew I was going to be a border line playoff team even if I made a few big moves and depleted my futures. So I quite honestly went for the tank, while at the same time improved my D, and got some great 3rd/4th liners, with a sprinkle of top end (2nd line talent). I believe I did a very good job of selling off my top guys, and it was really about sitting back and being patient, not having a fire sale, but rather waiting for the right time to trade. Now I have a great looking future, a solid looking team. I think im 3 - 4 players and a elite tender from being a top team, and that is something that just about every team can say, but I have plenty of picks/prospects that if used at the right time, can easily get me 3 or 4 very good pieces, and instantly put me right in the playoff picture next year, while still having more futures than what I had going into this yr. This yr was painful as I am actually quite a competitive guy, but no worries I will be back in the hunt next yr.
