Carlyle makes sense...Burkie's boy in Anaheim. Wilson only seems to take teams just so far but never to the promise land. He might get one more shot in the league.

so eakins as an assistant next season or back as head coach of the marlies? which would you prefer?

on one hand it'd be great to show how much we value what he's done by promoting him and letting him run the PK up in the bigs.

on the other hand, it'd be nice to know we have somebody down there developing our guys the right way and instilling that winning attitude to the marlies.

imo, let carlyle bring in his own guys and leave eakins with the marlies for next season.
