Using the real lottery results is the fairest (and easiest) way to do our lottery. We'll have our complete draft order determined after the lottery takes place on the 18th.

We'll have most of the draft slots determined by the end of this week. The conference finals teams are slotted as the last 4 picks in each round but that still needs to play out. We'll have the first 26 picks of each round figured out with the exception of the lottery in the first round.

And we typically do our draft a few weeks in advance of the actual NHL Entry Draft where we pick the players without knowing where they're picked.

McDavid ends his final OHL season with a 2.55 PPG. Crosby had 2.7 PPG in his final season of junior. Lindros was 2.61 in best year

Brett Seguin 134 pts in 64 gms - 0 NHL gams

Corey Locke 151pts in 64 gms - 9 NHL gms - plays in the DEL leauge

The only similarity between those players and mcdavid is that they led the OHL in scoring.

That's what I was wondering and doubt.

I also think the big difference is that every league is better today than it was even 5 or 6 years ago. CHL players, AHL players, Euro players...all hockey players are bigger, stronger and faster. It's really hard to compare players to players years ago because of this.

Have no idea, I just googled recent OHL scoring leaders, and that is what came up. I wasn't comparing them to Mcdavid, just that is amazing on how many top junior players never make it to the NHL.

I guess it goes to show that the draft can be a crap shoot.

I wouldn't lump mcdavid in with those guys though as they had some glaring holes in their games which mcdavid doesn't.

Think I'll gamble and take my chance on the said two lol
