Insanely good offer. Dallas would be a fool to pass this up.
I don't get it. Is 9th in this draft that valuable? Or is Hertl?
Do I actually agree with Shiv here? Say it ain't so lol!

Barkov is a center with more upside than Hertl and one hasn't really distinguished himself from the other yet.

The 9th pick isn't that valuable in this draft because once you get past the top 6 guys in this draft the difference between 7-25ish is negligible and really open to personal preference.

It's close, but not quite imo.
Completely off in my opinion. I see a pretty clear top 11/12 before the talent drops off significantly. Id argue there are 12 "top ten" talents.
Yes there may be 12 top 10 talents in this draft, but it is top heavy imo. By the 7th 8th pick you drop into the 3rd tier of this draft assuming somebody doesn't reach in the top 6. Yes there is a handful of guys after the top 6 imo that could be top 5 picks in a lot of drafts, but the first round is so deep this year that there are 20+ guys that could be top 10 picks in a lot of drafts. That is the point that I am making. There are 6 guys in this draft that should be no doubters while the next 20 is open to interpretation and preference as to who you prefer.

Personally I don't see that big of a 100% top 6 as you do, especially in the BBKL. It seems like you see a significant drop of talent at 6. I don't see it that way. I see a significant drop at 2 then 4, and then another drop at 12. With 13-40ish being more indiscriminate range talent wise.

It wouldn't surprise me too much see 5/6 different guys go in those #5 and #6 slots.

I personally don't like him that much BBKL stat wise to lump him in with the others. But NHL I agree.

Yea real talk. While there has been a fairly definitive gap between him and Hanifin and you gotta go Hanifin over him if you got the shot, I'm really really seeing elite potential in Provorov. Real exciting player, would go nuts if he fell to where I'm drafting.

I respectfully disagree. His bbkl value will partly depend on where he goes and whether he is a center or a wing, but he is easily the 3rd best player in this draft imo. You can't teach his skill set and he is ultra competitive ala Giroux.

Praying my leafs take Marner but would not be upset with Strome
Do not want Hanifin

Stats wise I see him topping out as more of a Kane than a Giroux, whether that is at C or W.

Which is obviously nothing to scoff at, but I just don;t ever see him being that all around BBKl contributor.

Praying the Leafs continue their ways and pass on Marner. Would love Marner to drop to 7.

Again, disagree. Kane is soft, Marner is not.

Ahhhhhhh makes sense. Sick Flyers have always been right up there for me behind the Canucks and Isles. I bet Flyers go Crouse this year

Crouse-Giroux-Voracek

Just sounds right.

Edit: Mayyyybe Zacha if they like him better.

God I hope not. I wouldn't take Crouse in the top 10. I wouldn't even start thinking about Crouse until the teens.

In my fantasy world, Marner drops to 7, Zacha falls to 11 and the Flyers use the TB pick+Schenn to move up.

Raffl - Giroux - Marner
Zacha - Couturier - Voracek

Make it so Hextall, make it so.
