I think pim is actually kinda a fun stat to have. I just really dislike +/- as an individual stat. Maybe it is time we considered adding an advanced stat ?

I've always wondered why neuvirth is never given a chance as a starter. His stats always seem to be quite good.koomzzz wroteCOLONmaybe 4 straight losses will yield a fucking Neuvirth start
Well, he had a chance to take a stranglehold on the job an then can down with an illness. Elliott had a couple of really good starts to follow.koomzzz wroteCOLONmaybe 4 straight losses will yield a fucking Neuvirth start
My vote is for even strength ptsBruyns wroteCOLONI'd be more on board with replacing +- then PIMs since +- has no affect on player value.
I love it.CasperX22 wroteCOLONMy vote is for even strength ptsBruyns wroteCOLONI'd be more on board with replacing +- then PIMs since +- has no affect on player value.
No we don't because STP has nothing to do with even strength and pts are just a sum of all parts. It gives value to different types of players by splitting es, pp, and sh into 3 seperate categories. Es scoring would give value to some of the better players in the NHL that don't necessarily see a ton of time on special teams.Handsome&FairMike wroteCOLONDon’t we already have even strength points sorta covered with STP and points? I could see splitting STP into pp and shorty points and then make points just even strength points? But I don’t really like it to be honest. Don’t see why +/- is so bad.
