If Radulov really signed you'd be smiling!

The waiver draft selection thread is now a global thread...I'll keep that up there until we're done.
http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8662
I've unlocked the thread so it's ready when Mike wants to kick this off around noon. I've got a lunch meeting until 1:30 so I'll pick after I'm done with that. I'll do my best to keep the draft order and draft summary updated.

as for eligibility:
a probably easier way to look at the pool of eligible players:
- any bbkl-free player born in 1991 or before is available
- bbkl-free players born in 1992 are available as well if they played in N.A. at 18, or/and at 19, or/and at 20
- any bbkl-free player under NHL contract is available
which btw is the same as saying the players available are the bbkl-free players who under the expired NHL CBA would be no more eligibile for future NHL Entry Drafts
(with a remote exception that applied to some older Euros which we didn't use).
Hopefully the new CBA will make this easier.

Just to be clear, if players aren't drafted during the waiver draft, and are no longer eligible for the entry draft we can just 'sign' them correct?

If they have an NHL contract, yes. AHL contract or otherwise, no.

Yeah, it's not like he hasn't been hinting at Brunner up to this point...
I'm made my pick and Luke has been PMed.
