Shattenkrik on LTIR Price as relief

You can't, as per CBA, use an existing roster player's cap hit as LTIR relief.
The relief cap must be asset(s) that are acquired either via trade(s) within the week, or via combination of your minors call-up assets that add up to LTIR asset cap hit.

But then again, not like anybody had been following/enforcing this part of the CBA in the past 5 years lol... Steve was like the only one I know that had used this rule correctly in the past calendar year.

And please, provide a proper link that denotes the asset being on IR from a third party source.

I can use Mrazek as relief for Shattenkirk now correct? My understanding is when you place them on LTIR and when you acquire the relief must be in the same week, not when the injury occurs?
