The Vatanen trade was a gamble the Paul wouldn't fall into the top 5 again. A gamble that he lost, but could have easily gone his way. Billy's trade was stupid from the jump. It was a bad trade then and an even worse trade now. He was going to lose that trade regardless.

What's even more sickening is the fact we will go through this again next season when Darling turns into a lotto pick for mik.

My biggest win was probably getting Wheeler from Shep a looong time ago. I've had a lot of losses too, I once traded the 5th pick for a package headlined by David Clarkson. Only saving grace is if I kept it I wanted Dal Colle so would have been a bad pick anyways.

i ended up with that 5th pick ... and flipped it to someone for Zibanejad.

I ended up with clarkson.
