at least you will admit it. I was embarrassed when burrows bit Bergeron, I surely didn't love it or laugh about it.

the fake bite afterwards by lapierre was funny though. I hate laps, he is a piece of shit, but that was a funny moment.

I wouldn't bite period. There's no excuse for it. Someone tries to take my head off from behind I sure as hell wouldn't bite him. Its like kicking a guy in the nuts....you just don't do it.

you also dont try and rip someones face off when they are getting in a tangle with your apparent tough guy. Grabo tried to pull patches off him, but he had a death grip going on.

I agree. that play patches did happens at least once a night in the nhl and how often do you see a bite.

I didn't want to make this into a big deal, I felt the Orr knee was the worst play of the game. all I wanted was to point out the huge double standard going on.


For the record my favorite moment was the Gorges fighting McLaren. Yea McLaren laughed at him which was what ever, but the fact Gorges dropped em with a guy like that makes me love Gorges. What a team guy, he had to know he wouldn't win that fight lol.

Every team needs a player like Gorges. Great guy. Shut the fuck up with the whining to the media though. Keep it in house, let it fuel your team to be better. You just got your asses handed to you in every single possible way in your home building.

Grabo is my favourite leafs player so he gets a pass, double standard or not .

There is no knee attempt in Orr's hit attempt. Only reason legs went flying is Plek's panic dodge - Orr was leading shoulder first on a player WITH the puck in response to the heat a few of the habs players started to play with. This IS THE CODE, you start picking on our skilled-players, the reponse isn't to go get you (although immediate option A), it's go out and get their skill guys - team code to live and die by. The fact that the leaf's run full goons means you're opening your own stars to their 'game'. Mind you, two habs did jump Orr, which is typically not proper conduct. But it is Orr and he was happy to throw a smurf aside, and drop a proper sized hockey player (who did grab him ripping his helmet off).

The MaxPac Grabed across the face, from behind, on a small guy who has gloves off and is getting punched by a real fighter does not happen every night, in fact it rarely ever happens - so claiming it does is silly. Wouldn't defend the bite - stupid and shows how far out of his norm he was in that situation. However that entire scrum was much hotter and more emotional than what happens most nights, in the NHL.

incase anyone missed it, Lethonen put on a goaltending clinic (although I thought Howard did as well), and my lack of dman games made this a very tight win for me (8-6-2), would have beat almost anyone else, much worse.
