That makes the most sense to me, Tony. He didn't play over 20 games last year and based on '18-19, he was a winger based on FOT.

Nick Schmaltz is listed as a C on google doc. His FOR is 0.346. He should be a winger.

He's not officially signed. There's all these guys on PTOs at camp with a team but I don't think players will officially sign until closer to opening night.

When you're submitting your roster today, just work with the players under contract right now. For Week 1, that's a different lineup that can include any new signings or if you choose to claim a free agent or claim someone off waivers.

I assume that position from Grigorenko was taken from his last season in the NHL? If so, Scott can you change his position on the sheet to W?

Yes he never had an NHL season with 20 RS games, so last season where he had more than 10 games provides the FOR that determines his position => W

BTW, I noticed for the first time updating these positions didn't cause illegal lineups retroactively, I don't know why, I wonder if Fantrax changed something about that or if someone changed our league settings

I did that to fix Florida's record after it was messed up last time.

ok, the drawback is, I guess the system won't let us know anymore when someone is dressing an illegal lineup on Fantrax, and I'm skeptic we'll manage to check teams 'manually'
