I didn't think he'd come back this year anyway. The Devils shut down Bryce Salvador instead of trying to get him back since this appears to be a lost season for the Devils. Plus, they canned MacLean and brought back Lemaire. They're starting to remind of the Yankees in the 70s and 80s...keep recycling the same few coaches. How soon until Larry Robinson coaches them again?

Montreal Canadiens general manager Pierre Gauthier announced Tuesday that the team has acquired defenceman James Wisniewski from the New York Islanders, in return for a compensatory second-round pick in 2011, and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2012.

I do not get this move from the Islanders perspective...
From a fantasy standpoint Wis point value went up, as well as his +/- rating, but his BS, Hits, and SHTOI likely took a hit as he should be used primarily as a pp specialist in Montreal.

Steal for Montreal...don't have to rely on Subban that much now.
Looks like the Islanders are going into full tank mode.

I'm really hoping it's serious, would open the door for myself and others to overthrow the current top seed in the East.
