If you were offering both on top of the 3rd pick that might be a bit more reasonable. Neither are likely to be top 50 picks, so lets not pretend like you are doing him a favor by adding a late 2nd round pick.

Ah right, I forgot that he didn't ask for it and that they have no value.
A late 2nd? Not much at all. If one late 2nd is all he asked for on top of the 3rd pick, then shame on him. Neither of those picks are likely to result in a regular NHL player, so no the value is not that great.

Dude, you've been here for a month and a half. Maybe 2 months. Maybe you should stop pretending you know the value of everything.

Because you've been here longer than me you must obviously be smarter and know better than me? OK cool.

I've been here long enough to gather a relative grasp on the value of assets.

Nope I could care less just except when the whole story wasn't told and skewed to make me look like I was asking for the world when I wasn't but thanks

1st of all, highly doubtful based on your status as still being a bottom 5 team. 2nd of all, that isn't even what we are discussing. We are discussing how good is Hanifin in relation to other young defenders you are asking for. All we have right now is my opinion vs yours.

I never said anything of the sort. I said one of the teams was out of the running and then apparently I wanted cake. Stuff like this is exactly why I don't want to do hours of negotaition. I asked what you wanted me to add. I offered what you told me.

That should have been the end of it, but here we are.

Aw look at you go. Your team is just so awesome. You actually got legit NHLers when you joined.

Here is my team, after I made improvement in my first off season:
Scott Parse (900k) - Jochen Hecht (3.525) - Dan Sexton (750k)
Alex Kotalik (3) - Kris Draper (1.58333) - Mark Recchi (1.95)
Victor Oreskovich (575k)- John Mitchell (725k) - David Moss (1.3)
Richard Clune (5225k) - Zach Stortini ( 700k) - N/A
- Adam Mair (UFA) -

ex Darcy Tucker (UFA)

Brian Campbell (7.142875) - Jeff Schultz (2.75)
Bryan McCabe (5.75) - Craig Rivet (3.5)
Wade Redden (6.5) - Jeff Finger (3.5)

ex none

Hannu Toivonen (550k)
Martin Gerber (500k)

ex Vesa Toskala (UFA), Wade Dubielewicz (UFA)
And yes. That is my team, after improvements.

Good thing opinions are like assholes; everyone's got one.

I'm not sure what this "some" is supposed to be, but if your only interpretation of a player is what you find on Hockey DB, well.. good luck with that.

Like.. are we comparing their draft season stats? Because Lindholm had 4 points in a Tier III Swedish junior league and Hanifin had 23 points playing against grown ass men.

Give me something to go with here because your pointing is whizzing fast and far above my head.

Although, I will say that you should totally pick up Eric Himelfarb. He was the teams leading scorer that year.

I'm not even kidding. That's a real player leading a real team in scoring.

I think allsveskan is the tier 2 men's league.

He also had 17 points in 28 games in the top Swedish jr league SuperElit.

Not taking sides on this. Just pointing that out.
