I'm probably the worst person to comment on this, but I thought Cliff was always an awesome BBKL citizen. CC should give him another chance and bypass that rule of 1 year for Cliff.

cliff was for sure, but the question remains, will Cliff quit again when he gets bored? Id hope not....

With the above being said, shivs quit multiple times and he's back in so I guess that wouldn't be a fair reason to hold cliff out.

I'm just confused as to why cliff stayed in one league and quit ours, which I thought everyone was pretty close in. It just looks bad since Anaheim was essentially a bottom team once he left and now he gets sjs which are leaps and bounds better.

I have expressed that I would rather have Cliff than no GM for the draft, but I also respect that rules are there for a reason. It seems like he won't be allowed back until October unless Mike decides otherwise.

Brockbirds was last here March 9th ... I had good dealings with the guy, but I'd love ARI to be active.

Tough to give someone the boot in the off season like that. Not sure there is precedence.

From the looks of it is a complex decisions process seeing as many are a split in brining u back with or without the mandatory 8 months or even vs bringing u back at all

At this point u shud just be nodding and sucking off cc to agree and respect everything they got to say on the matter. None of steves #bbc shits gonna weigh any bearing to making a decision here.

I'm gonna just put it out there for the first time on this matter:

None of the opinion in which I say here will be taken into consideration the decision to bring cliff back, but I feel yes, u left cliff cuz i thought pbhl will be better and stronger than ud originally thought. Nobody sugar cost this either that yes u no longer felt u cud rise in standings with the ducks u have built over the years. A team that sucks so hard that u no longer wanna try in the league-feeling. I get it, coming from a guy who finished bottom 5 more times than not over 4 yrs.

The decision u made always have crossed my own mind many many times because this league is hard as fucking hell to succeed in. The mistake (if u wanna call it that) To leave is all by your own discretion and tbh just folding on a bad team to say fuck it, is way way easier than keep convincing urself 'no, I can work on it and do this. I'll stay' mentality. Whether ppl take me as a joke or not in these forums matter none to me because in the end I take greatest pride in sticking to this league thru good and bad times, and persevering year after year to try to startegize my goals. Those who have quit on a whim cuz of 'real life' commitment or rather, have no excuse to come back imo because everyone can manager time well enough to survive here with minimal activity requirement.

Just from overall understanding of situation and decision made from my own eyes, what cliff did only hurts his own credibility and it should be respected whatever outcome Cc decides on.

I think some common ground can be found here something such as obviously cliff will be on probation and if brought back but if he quits again within 2 years he can't come back for something like 15+ months Basically add the time on he would have served to come back this year plus some. Think Cliff would agree to something like that. The rule is somewhat followed bc hell lots of rules haven't been followed so kind of meeting in the middle. Might be harsh but ensures he is committed for the long haul and helps fill the league out before the draft

Shiv - quit apr 5/14 returned may 4/15

Bryma - quit Oct 2/13 returned Dec 12/13, quit again Sep 13/14

Kareem - quit Mar 8/12, returned Aug 14/12, quit again June 8/14

Bergy-quit July 22/11, returned Mar 14/12

i like this idea, or if cliff comes back and quits again just never let him back in. I think Cliff coming back is good for the league. He knows just about everyone, he's super liked and already knows the ins-and-outs of this league as he's been around forever.

Old man dave never really got to know Cliff, if he did he's be in support of him coming back.

I like that idea, and tbh a little surprised that matthew woudln't take that team.

just give cliff SJS and i'm sure matthew will rape him enough that it's like they have those teams anyways.

Matt loves #Dubydubydoo too much to let that team go... will profit on moving one of his goalies and be back into the mix. Plus can't blame him for ditching it after all the work he's put into it. Would be quite a story to see that team make some noise in couple years.

And I agree #BBC... if he bails again within a reasonable time period, ban him for life. Unless, of course, there are others trying to join!

Yup. This should be the easiest decision of the summer.

like I said Id love to come back to BBKL and I am fully committed to BBKL. I want to be here guys
