I'll check out your sheet later, Lee.
I'll post some FAQ for the sheets now that most of you have access and you're using them.

I fixed your sheet, Lee. I'm going to assume you cut and paste some names...yeah, that screws up the formulas. You can copy and paste but don't cut and paste.

Right...forgot mention that. We'll do like what we did last year...we'll have a thread where everyone posts who they are sliding. I'll enter the status on the database.
If you want to know who is eligible to slide, the green "!" in column J on the weekly sheets...that's your indicator. If I don't have the birthdate and GP entered for a player, that status won't show up and obviously this only applies to player with a contract. I do have all the active contracts entered.

koomzzz wroteCOLONLTIR players aren't included in the cap calculation.
additionally the REL slots for LTIR relief do not populate with a cap hit when you add a player as cap relief. The formula for cap hits on the REL list should include column B, and then look up the 5th value from there, i think that would fix that
to follow up on this. I tried putting Grabovski in LTIR1 slot. once I do so, his salary is subtracted from the total. and adding REL1 to Greening puts his name in the REL1 slot, but no salary next to his name, but since Grabovski's contract already subtracted then I guess not a big deal. But adding REL2 to Raffl, nothing happens, he doesn't appear in the REL2 slot. Just a heads up

Yeah, just an issue with the formula...referencing the wrong columns. Fixed it on your sheet. I'll go through and correct it on everyone else's later.

to follow up on the LTIR issue.
1. thanks shoalzie for fixing up the formulas to correct the salaries and players filling cells
2. the salary for LTIR player is removed from the total salary, and then the REL players are also removed
for example: Grabovski's $5mil subtracted from the total, and then an additional $5mil is subtracted for the REL1 and REL2 players. So it says I have almost $13mil in cap space, but in reality I should have $5mil less than that. If this makes any sense

Very small thing (and really doesn't matter much at the moment) but I have the younger Erik Nystrom (MTL pick) and is showing up as the older dude.

Everyone is missing the 2017 waiver picks...those will be added as well as 2018 when I get a chance.
