kyuss wroteCOLONAs trades are about to re-open, here are the parameters for waivers eligibility in the 2016/2017 BBKL season:
Skaters will need to have played max 120 NHL regular season games AND to have yet to turn 26 as of October 1st to be waiver exempt throughout the starting BBKL season.
Goalies will need to have played max 60 NHL regular season games AND to have yet to turn 26 as of October 1st to be waiver exempt throughout the starting BBKL season.
However, an exception is made for players who have yet to play a single NHL game. Those players will be exempt to waivers even if already 26 yrs old.
In bold what's new for the upcoming season.
For example, this would have made S.Moses and Kemppainen (both drafted in the 2015 BBKL Waiver draft) exempt for their first NHL season, like they were indeed this season for the NHL.
The red text is the new rule as of last season.

Scott, just set you as admin on FT, not sure why you weren't before.
As to my roster I think Kempe and Griffith's C/W might be mixed up, but my roster will be legal either way.

Thanks Mike. We'll get Fantrax in line for the start of the season.
As long as you can set your lineup on the sheet...I just want to make sure your rosters (in terms of names) on both sources match each other.

I think Ben Street should be a C on my sheet, appears as a C on Fantrax and has taken draws in his (limited) NHL time.

I'm making some tweaks to the sheet in the database that determines positon eligibility...don't be alarmed if guys go from W to C or C to W or anything else.

Given what I'm working on right now and how it may prevent some of you from completing the lineup on your sheet...don't worry the 10 p.m. deadline.
Try to get it in as soon as you can...when I'm done farting around.

Having trouble assigning guys to LTIR on my sheet. Probably my fault. Can someone talk me through it again.

Any of the names you assigned "Inj Res"...just enter any of their names in the "LTIR" slots.

Still missing sheets from a few teams. Don't make me mildly perturbed...you wouldn't like me when I'm mildly perturbed.

Just a heads up: Brian Gibbons listed as having 0 GP in his career, should be 66
and CJ Smith's position is LW rather than W

I'm trying to wrap up reviewing everyone's sheets this week. I'll get around to correcting errors and missing info very soon. Free time has been at a premium lately.

I'm sending out PMs to teams to correct your Fantrax or Google sheet. I'd appreciate it if you'd make your corrections in time for Monday's roster lock. Any players you left off Google that were supposed to clear waivers, they'll go on waivers on Monday at noon.
Next season, the rosters on Google will be automated so this is the last year you guys need to worry about entering names. It'll all be done through the database. You just need to assign the players the active or bench or injured or minor roles. The database will be updated with each transaction. Next year's sheets are already in development.

Also Freddy Hamilton a C on the sheet but W on Fantrax
I'm using him this week and legal regardless of what his position actually is (think W)

it was already past 1a.m. here when I managed to get a look at my lineup on googledoc and had some troubles understanding what was happening with my cap, ended up changing my lineup on fantrax as a result: wanted to bench W.Karlsson and bring up another player, but to be safe I did not. I think the issue was related with the IR and it turns out I probably had almost 1M free, but even now that I think I did what I needed, Haula's salary doesn't show up and I don't think it's getting counted against the cap.
