Yeah I'm not selling anything (probably stupid) but keeping a bunch of cash on the sidelines until boc and fed raise rates another 100 points or so.

Vermillion still destroying. Up nearly 5x since September, and doubled since the war. They are heavily invested in European gas (also oil company) so come this winter they should continue to destroy. Suspect they will be adding a big dividend after the 1st quarter of 2023 too once they've curtailed some of their debt.

You did good on that one nicely done Matthew.

I just continue to add little bits and pieces to my BMO and cibc holdings. My yield on a cost basis for enb/BMO/CIBC is about 7% on about 40k which for me is a good chunk of money. It’s all tax free too in the tfsa.

Today seeking alpha gave vermilion a 95 cad price target, and it's currently at 38.

I just keep buying banks. Have almost 40k in tfsa paying me yields of 7.3% (at cost)


I own about 70 abnb as well. It’s been getting smacked with the rest of the market but I do like it long term. Just wish I woulda bought it all in the 90s instead of where I did lol

That’s why I said at my cost :P. Highest I’ve seen in the last week was about 6.25% for BNS
