Pens should honestly just get in a legit 2nd line centre and play malkin and crosby on line1...

And Brunner clears.

Who needs him when you can put Megna, Spaling, Comeau and now even Klinkhammer in your top six!

He was a decent offensive player but just not a hard worker. That's probably the biggest reason the Wings didn't keep him. If you at this level, you're naturally going to be talented but you need work ethic for you to stick. You're seeing that with some of these recent Euro free agents.

The bottom line is he's an offense only player that doesn't produce offensively. That doesn't fly in the NHL.

"The Blues have scratched Alexander Steen and Ian Cole for today's game against the New York Islanders, with no apparent reason.

It's clear that Boston and St. Louis have been talking trade, which has been confirmed by Pierre Lebrun and Jeremy Rutherford."

nope, the reason they didn't keep him is he rejected their (fair) offer cause his agent told him he could get more money

Steen took pregame skate and restrained his "lower body" injury.

Guess not a trade...Cole hasn't been all that strong and he's a healthy scratch. He has started to put up points of late.

The Boston Edmonton rumours are interesting. Hall Lucic swap as center pieces...
