How exactly would it work?

Its a you get to protect X roster player + basically all waiver exempt players. I think last time the number was 15 rosters + 2 goalies but might have been 15 total.

Rebuilding teams with a core of young players would literally be subject to missing zero players haha.

You had choice on what to protect to some extent. There were numbers set per position on what you could keep and couldnt. You could protect 1 goalie and if you protected your second goalie you had to make 2 F/D available as a penalty. Stuff like that.

If there was expansion, I'd be very much interested in GMing an expansion team, would that be an option?

why out of curiosity? You start out with much less assets then you currently have.

Just the idea of building a team from nothing appeals to me.

Pretty sure I am the only one qualified enough to do that, Josh.

We would have to discuss GM options in the case of an expansion.

We did a switch once and swore never again. We had issues with picks being lost during the transfer...

it also undermines the concept of a keeper league.

Standings updated till Week 13:

-BOS takes over the 2nd Seed in the Atlantic
-The Central Division is now the 2nd Division with a Winning record
-WSH and COL are rising up the standings in the East and West respectively

Col will continue to rise. They are a good team with a rather easy schedule the rest of the way. I expect a 3rd place finish for them.
