Ok, Leafers. How did Joey Crabb look? I heard Brown has a broken finger and Crabb is the closest thing to have as a replacement in a top 6 role. Hes gonna go on fire and I am going to sell him high

Perfect, I should be able to get a solid 1st rounder out of him in this league, eh?

Lee, I think it was you that gave me Jared Spurgeon as a toss in in a deal we had. I never realized he actually had some skill. Thanks. He debuted on Monday night for Minny and looked good in his first game. Could be an offensive d-man. Which i need.

You are correct. I found it. It was Mik when he was clearing space
To Boston: Marcus Foligno + Ray Macias + Jared Spurgeon
To Nashville: 2012 5th Rounder (BOS)

mr. bruin wroteCOLONHow come no one is talking about Kessel lately? Remember his 50 goals that was talked about? Didn't he get benched last game for being lazy? Thats the true Phil..as streaky as they come. Now he will be a little baby for a while and be a lazy fuck. His routine will be so predictable... Leafs gotta get rid of that stupid fuck Wilson though, seriously. He is such a negative for the Leafs. The players on that team aren't the biggest threat in the East but they are better than there record shows. Especially with a different coach. He(Wilson) alienates players and his babbling to the media annoys even non - Leaf fans. I wouldn't lay money on it but I wouldnt be surprised if the relationship between Phil and Ron is a bit tainted now. Kessel holds grudges..
I hate to admit it, but I'm beginning to see this more and more with each passing game...This fucker needs to take the next step, he is so useless when he isn't scoring, he will try and deke around 3 defenceman at the blueline instead of dumping it in, and he uses the same toe drag move, which works about 5% of the time. He doesn't battle in the corners, and consistently cuts wide only to shoot from a bad angle, the dumb fuck NEVER holds onto the puck and waits for help, it's frustrating as hell. I don't want to give up on him, and I wont, but my god that deal is looking worse and worse by the day...

The dude has so much skill, we can agree on that. He is a kind of high maintenance player on and off the ice. It seems if he gets in the bad books he doesn't really try to hard to get out of them. I also think there is a bit too much expectation placed on him to carry a load like he has never had to before. I know some people may disagree but Kessel is a 1b player. He needs that guy to feed him and do more dirty work as Kessel won't consistently. I think it is a bit unfair to think that Bozak should have been that guy. He needs a bit more development/experience before he could step into a to line center. They are tough to find and i think it is taken for granted until you really need one. I look at Iginla and put him in same situation as Kessel. Only difference is Iginla will battle and grind to make goals out of nothing even without a center whereas Kessel seems to lose some self confidence as his mini slumps go on. He's around for awhile so I hope the LEafs can do there best to get him someone. Hereally needs it, and i know it is very obvious now but from the beginning it wasn't.

My problem with him isn't even that he's not producing, no one on this team is, my problem is his decision making, it is really poor, which is either a result of poor IQ or terrible work ethic, which is problematic. The kid will literally try to stick handle past 3 defenceman, as opposed to dumping it in, and CONSISTENTLY rushes up the wing and takes a bad angled shot that results in a turn over, players like that aren't worth what we gave up, not even close. That is my problem. Kessel is a talented player, but he needs to start making adjustments otherwise this team is in trouble, top line center or not.

Wow.. Subban a healthy scratch. Again, where was this last week?
Great game by the Leafs tonight, they deserved that win as they gave it hard from the first drop of the puck. If not for Thomas this game was a 3 or 4 goal game by the Leafs. Big hits and motivation to win against the "team" that traded them Kessel. May I also note that Kessel played center. I think I had thse discussion with someone at the beginning of the year how Kessel was a center that Boston turned into a winger. And i was crazy to say that Kessel could be a center and play there. Its about time they put him there imo. At least he cant be so predictable. Now that Armstrog is back, hat line could be good. Why not put your three best players on one line when things aint going right? I would also like to say that I really like Kulemin. He plays a lot more physical than I had previously thought. And did you guys see that freaking save Thomas made to kep it even before OT?
Odds of the Leafs being the team to slow down Sidney... rather low... but the odds of us making two 3rd period comebacks against teams that haven't lost with the lead or lost in the 3rd was also pretty low... one can always dream
