Hall's stats in his draft year blow the other two out of the water.
Ya but he sucks now. I suspect Yaks stats were better as well.

I just watched a 17 year old carry a shitty team to the playoffs. He took an undrafted Fortier and made him look like a sniper.

This kid has incredible 2way skills.

He also was a lot of fun to watch in the WJC

Im not suggesting he's going to be a superstar like Mcdavid or Datsuyk, but i certainly think he has 70pt upside + decent peripherals.

I certainly prefer Nico, but both will be very good players in their own way.

I think they are more comparable to those 2 as prospects than you give them credit for.
Hall had 20 more points in the same 57GP as Nico and then put up 17G 35 points in 19GP in the playoffs. Once again I'm not talking about how good Nico or Patrick will become or how good Hall is now, I'm just saying at the time they put up better seasons in their draft year and were seen as more of a sure thing. Patrick was supposed to be the clear cut #1 and then faltered maybe due to injury and wasn't that much more impressive than the season before. Hischier played his way into the picture and rose up the draft board all season, both are going to be great players I just don't see the same hype as that Hall/Seguin draft.

Also Yak was good, but not great, 68pts in 42GP. Crazy how much he has struggles and still seems committed to N.A. and not wanting to bolt to the KHL.

If a player is loaned to a CHL team they can play in the AHL after the draft.

I've become more of yakupov fan since seeing his commitment to staying in NA even after struggling for most of his career so far.

I know he wasn't loaned, thought maybe Mik wasn't aware that mattered for where he played next year. You are probably right about load though haha.

Was also Hall's 3rd season in the CHL. Not really an apples to apples comparison. Either way I'm going to be happy with whichever player gets left for the Flyers at 2.

Hall also had cam fowler, Adam henrique, Ryan ellis, auston Watson, and Richard panik on his team. That's a pretty stacked ChL team.
