It's going to be tough to keep going back to Hiller in this shortened season with the way the Ducks are rolling and how well Fasth has played.

It seems as though most ducks fans want fasth to take over as starter, but heck, what do they or I know right. Also no coincidence fasth is getting the tougher of the back to back matchup. But lets forget the whole numbers thing so far with fasth being undefeated and what not, oh and that new 2.9 mill per year contract he signed.

Mike Smith's performance today looks like it will cost me the week. What a fucking moron.

Bruce Boudreau said as much himself, as well he should. The Ducks would be stupid to sit a proven elite starter because of a small sample size of games by an unproven goaltender.

Believe me, I know he's the starter. But in a shortened season, Boudreau is crazy to not ride the hot goaltender for as long as possible.

It wouldn't be the first time that a coach went with the proven starter, even to the detriment of the team. Frankly, I think the Ducks have more to lose by benching Hiller than they stand to gain by starting Fasth, but that is just my opinion.
