I am actually okay with PAP being bought out if he can re-sign for a 1-1.5 million dollar deal elsewhere. He has suffered injuries the past few seasons, so if he could recover and put up 40-50 points next year on a small contract, his bbkl value would go up a ton for me. It is too difficult moving wingers on fat contracts in this league.

Time fixes a lot of anomalies... look for beleskey to be bought out as well eventually

At least Boston has a nice core of young players to work with (Spooner, Pastrnak, 3 2nd rounders from this season, Hamilt...oh wait). Anyways, I thought Canucks fudging lack deal was bad. This Boston shake-up is atrocious.

VAN screwed the Lack situation too. Now Lack is at best 1B, because Ward has his billion dollar deal still. I mean, I assume that CAR has to move on from Ward eventually though... CAR was actually a decent team in front of him defensively I think

Richards can still be a player in the league in a smaller role if he gets the right contract. Teams aren't going to want a $5 or 6 million player on their 3rd or 4th line but they'll take a guy for $1 or 2 million.

Certainly a possibility, but with only one year left on his deal and a weak FA class they may keep him as well. I'm good either way.
