No you can't choose for exempt players to be available.

Why not? Wouldn't it just strengthen the crop of players available to tim? He doesn't need to choose them. Just say that those players can't fill one of your mandatory 40gp spots.

I suppose if Steve really wanted to do it he could just trade tim the player he isn't allowed to expose and in exchange tim can't choose any of his players available with any value.

essentially this...if Tim liked Vesey the most i could always trade him to Tim for Eakin/Savard after expansion. I was simply trying to give him another option to sway him for taking one of those 2...in the end it doesn't really matter.

Nope using the SS by simply putting a P. Those who don't have a P and are eligible will automatically be exposed for Tim to pick from. Scotts making a list for him so if you don't put any P's on your SS all your eligible players will be exposed

If it's unofficial it wouldn't mean anything tho right? No P on SS you'd still be exposing them. Seems like it would potentially create a point of contention if someone forgets to do their SS

Functionally i do not think you can expose Vesey, but you can make the arrangement to do the swap in understanding. That would be legal/how it'll be done in NHL too

According to capfriendly I don't have any Defensemen that meet NHL exposure requirements, but I think this is due to them being upcoming UFAs.(??I think) I DO have 2 that meet 40/70 though, that's sufficient enough for exposure in bbkl? I feel like it's been answered but I'm nervous I might need to find a Dman to expose.
