C'mon. Just pick.
Mik had 8 hours. The guy picking behind u should get to take who he wants, and mik may take that guy.

After his season last year I can't see him not getting a place to play

I agree, was surprised he only got an ATO and not a PTO.

Must say though this is probably been the most quality players I've seen from a waiver draft in years

Draft is complete so free agency claims start today at noon (Eastern).
Reminder of the basic ground rules...one claim for every 24 hours. Meaning, if you claim a player 1:30 p.m., you can't claim another player until 1:30 p.m. the next day. It's not a noon-to-noon window like with waivers.
Unowned players under NHL contracts that aren't 2018 draft eligible can claimed. Feel free to include a link to their CapFriendly page to confirm their contract status but I'll confirm when I record each claim.
I'll make it a point to get any claimed player's info entered as soon as possible. Roster submission is scheduled for next Saturday at noon.
Any players you claim or have drafted in the waiver draft...add them on Fantrax as soon as possible. You need to have your Google sheet and Fantrax rosters to match when you submit your roster.

can we open the thread early to prevent issues we've had in the past where it was opened late?

How does this process work? Does it reset every 24 hours, so if someone picks now they can pick again at noon tomorrow, or is it after ur last pick u need to wait 24 hours?
Cuz that would mean if someone was able to pick at 12 on the first day, and another at 1201 then that person picking at 12 will b able to pick first everyday until no players are left.

Resets everyday at noon. Not a personal 24 hr window.
Aka could make a pick at 11:59 and another at 12:01 tmw (provided you didn't make a pick today)
