Agree, all their singles have the exact same structure too, reminds me of Nickelback; they have a formula for writing catchy songs and just plug new words in to make a new hits. Just boring music IMO
Wow.. I don't even know where to begin. Let me guess, you listen to thrash metal and I'm to narrow minded to "get it" ?

Go listen to their 3 singles, "I Don't Know", "Who" and "The Way It Is" and tell me how they have the exact same structure and formula with new words.

I'm actually in shock that you just compared their music style to Nickleback. That's like saying the Beatles and Backstreet Boys are pretty much the exact same because they were pop bands women would die over.

If I wasn't at work I'd show you plenty of examples of why that is an absolute baseless comment.

Let's see all three singles entail repeating the song title over and over and over with little to no other lyrics. They are sang over classic rock riffs which are catchy but also simple. I didn't attack you personally just said in my opinion it's boring music and the way they seem to put out songs using the same formula reminds me of Nickelback, not musically but structurally. Comparing the Beatles and back street boys over the affect they have on women is probably legitimate as well, but the comparassion I was making had to do more so with songwriting technique so not sure what you're trying to get at there? The Sheepdogs are a lot like Jet from years past rock rivival band that's catchy but not all that unique. Again just my opinion, and I listen to all different music but doing so doesn't make me smarter or dumber than you Shep.

I can't name a current band that has the same sound as the Sheepdogs. Wouldn't that qualify as unique?

The Guess Who meets Lynyrd Skynyrd or Three Dog Night meets Allman Brothers.

We heavily disagree on this subject, that's for sure.

There's never going to be exact matches, but as I said Jet tried a similar thing by coming up as ACDC sound alikes, BRMC sound right out of the 60s 70s (I admit I still like them), you have the Brian Jonestown Massacre who sound just like the early Stones, most of Jack White's stuff is considered rock revival as well. It's out there for sure, I just find their songs repetitive and boring the same could undoubtedly be said about bands I like as well.

I never saidd I didnt like the sheepdogs because I do.
Im just curious to when that style of music became cool again , seems to be quite a bit of it going around these days.

Yeah, I liked him when I still listened to rap like 10 years ago with Revolutionary Vol. 1 and 2. Loved both of those. The 3rd World wasn't fantastic, but it was okay.
