i'm only trolling, you've done a good job, brought that team from the bottom feeders up to a border line playoff team

Ouch, that was an ugly week that completely wasted my regular season.. now facing LA without G's in the last game i'll very probably finish 7th or 8th and face MIN or LA in the 1st round.
Malkin didn't come back (Cervenka scoring but in the farm), played 5 men short, Backstrom killed it between the pipes and Cliff's 5 defensemen (Beauchemin, Volchenkov, Niskanen, Stoner and Daley) got 5 goals.
Made a couple of moves today to help fixing the lineup.. hopefully Malkin, Erskine, Pouliot, Fehr, Bonino will be back for the playoffs.. for Diaz i've lost hopes.
Hemsky+Wellwood+Pouliot+Zuccarello(signing)+Johansson(switching) would give my team 5 more wingers than i had this past week. Would be nice for once dressing a complete lineup at least.

So theres a rule against max games played and a rule that you must dress a goalie? Isnt that a setup for conflict?

Allowing teams to not dress a goalie is opening up a huge can of worms. What if teams abuse it (i.e. not dress goalies to impact the standings/playoff matchups?)
Also, in the NHL - which game can happen without a goalie in net lol?
Definitely an antitrust issue.

So i could dress Johan Gustafsson eh? I seem to remember someone dressed a 4th round pick or something earlier this season and no one made an argument out of it..

mmh, so, yes, the (out of date) CBA states you need to dress a G, but not a NHL goalie.. which would let putting Soberg in there, which of course wouldn't change anything... (i even thought about doing it -have no cap issues- but i thought obviously it wouldn't change anything)
