He has 0 points in 7 games played since 2010 in the regular season and 0 points in 9 playoff games and had more giveaways than hits and blocked shots during the playoffs.

I'm shocked he hasn't been signed either.

Matthew wroteCOLONI'm a little surprised Kyle Cumiskey hasn't gotten an NHL contract yet. The blackhawks chose to use him over their other NHL d-men in both the Anaheim and TB playoff series.
Well,... there are a whole bunch of better D men out there currently. Seems to be a waiting game for RFA's to sign and then teams know where everything stands

On the Detroit board there is some speculation that hr may take the year off. Some believe he may even retire. I also have no idea who father time is. I'll just check fantrax to see later if im still curious.

Next season 4 of Mik's 5 starting Centermen will be 33 years old or older. I gotta cross my fingers 2 more of them go down, as i hold his 1st.

Well, all of his centers could get injured and he would still make the playoffs, so yeah. his defense outscores my entire team.

Mik has the best team in the West, I would have no desire to hold his 1st.

Mik will contend again...he can overcome a few injuries. I've already praised him for his sustainable roster. Quality NHL talent...quality prospect pool.

I hate the believed negotiating tactic of asking extreme so you have room to move. it doesn't work and is the opposite of negotiating in good faith.

It's also assuming stupidity on your opposite and bad faith on their part.

reminds me of the wolf-phone booth study.

10 people in phone booths. wait 10 minutes and don't answer the phone and all 10 gets $10'000. or pickup the phone and you get $2'500, everyone else gets nothing.

what do you do?

three types of people pick-up the phone. 1) idiots, 2) psychopaths, 3) people who are scared of 1&2. everyone else waits and everyone gets $10k, recognizing that picking up the phone hurts you too.

anyone pick up the phone in my booth would loose all their teeth. The rest of us would then split the 2500/9 ways

part of the details that I clearly failed to explain, are there you're in 10 separate phone booths, wouldn't know who picked it up.

the idea being that you can ensure a positive outcome for yourself, anonymity from the group, and you can hurt them (and have no reason to do so. they are random people you don't know)... the key decision here is the consideration for the state of mind of the others, and the willingness to hurt yourself a little, in order to hurt everyone else.
