I don't think that's unique to hockey or even just to pro sports. Incredibly sad and perhaps a little confusing between natural talent and the need for hard work but it does highlight that fear isn't a productive long term motivator and in almost all circumstances, the end does not justify the means.


I think it's great that he shared his story and hope there are those brave people in the parking lot that start the awkward conversation with the parent who's lost their focus/awareness/marbles.

Patrick Kane up to 26 games. Really remarkable. If he does 2 more games there will only be 3 players in league history with a longer consecutive point streak ahead of him. Two of them being Wayne and Mario.
