Nicely done, Matt. You are proving you belong with the big boys in this league.

Wheeler is legit. The other two are pretenders.

Nope, I'm implying that the other two will tail off, while Wheeler will continue to put up numbers.

Define "now". This week? This month? Is March "now"? Because I don't see how Upshall and Jokinen keep up this pace all season.

Not trolling but - maybe you won't. You've lost deal after deal after deal since your downward spiral of the Backes/JVR deals happened. I went through a similar downward spiral two years ago when I traded Dustin Brown. It's very hard to recover when you are trying to make up the stats you have lost in past deals as I ended up digging myself a deeper hole. Which is exactly what seems to be happening here with you IMO. You will find your way out though. You're an elite GM.

Cooke has 3 pts in the last 16 games after posting 8 in the first 13, and I'm the one that acquired players that will tail off.

But, I'm not surprised.

I'm actually liquidating assets before I leave the league. For Mike to win (not that he needed it), and for new GM's to compete.

For the record, Jokinen has put up better BBKL stats than Wheeler every season other than last years blip on the radar. He's 35 but players like he's 30. He wants to play in the NHL until he's 50 and he's fit enough to do so (see: Chris Chelios).

Matt Cooke brings other things in H2H. And he is a tradeable asset. I'd love to see the return you generate on these two once they tail off.

Anyways, I don't see why you are getting so defensive. I can not like a trade for you. I'm definitely more vocal than most when I see a lopsided deal so that's probably why I upset people haha.

Here, I'll make a "Shep"-like response to the trade: "Meh."

I'm not upset, just showing you that you are wrong.

I have no reason to trade them, so that doesn't matter to me.
