I didn't say it was my home, LOL. I dont do that.

I just partake in the occasional session because it helps with my lower back pain (legit)

Researchers/doctors/scientist currently working on separating the pain-relief aspect of pot from the other parts... could be an interesting change in discussion.

I've always taken the stance: are you a criminal for smoking pot?

IMO: No

From what I can gleam as a public perspective: No

To me that suggests our laws relative to pot use are out of date. I'd like to see it properly and fairly regulated, similar to smoking and alcohol - a tax structure in place that a) covers any related admin and medical costs & b) is of benefit to the system -> I think this would have some positive down-chain effects on not only the perception of pot smokers, but also a current entry system to illegal markets, likely a source of funding for larger crime groups.

Once there's a way to measure the "high-ness" like blood alcohol, I'll agree.

Never liked the blood-alcohol measure, it's not why drinking and driving is a problem, being too impaired to drive safely is the problem, and I believe the old-school test of eye sight, focus and reaction time is a test of suitability to drive. Different blood-alcohol levels effect people differently, I have a good friend who is a Liver researcher, this discussion drives her nuts.

however standard test delivery and too much subjectivity ruined a better measure. It's also not a bad thing to have fewer people driving after any amount of booze. Likely the same story for pot.

Working or driving are obviously different from being 'allowed' to use, I can text all I want, but I'm not allowed to text and drive...hahah

Paul would be out of picks for the next 10 years if we did that.

Once there's a blood test for texting I'll be okay with it

What i think we need in canada are multiple licenses. One for the winter and one for the rest of the time.

Oh. Like quebec, snow tires should be mandatory across all of canada too.
