I have to say i agree with wanting Kane over this package. You pick up depth on the FA list and waiver draft, not by liquidating prime franchise assets. I was looking at numbers and Kane is basically Ryan Callahan except way younger. He is what a BBKL star is made of.

I admit I am brutal when talking about people on here sometimes but is this not warranted? Dave is not ready for this league. That's not a personal shot at him. He just doesn't know enough. Maybe he will need to learn as he goes along here. But at what cost? More trades like Penner for Hamonic? This trade?

Ya I prefer that. I hate the long-winded Nos where the GM spends time bigging up his players. I'd much rather prefer a counter back that works. If there is no counter that works, "No" is best.
