NHL.com uses their own abbreviations also. They might be a good choice to use theirs since we've used a couple different fantasy sites. I can't figure out why certain sites have their own initials for teams and don't have common abbreviations like you'd have for an airport and I think most of the nations have their own three letter initials you'd see during the World Cup or the Olympics.

btw, since Fantrax carries draft picks*, i'd say starting with the 2016 picks we should move them in trades via Fantrax, so that everyone has automatically available only the picks he does possess.
Obviously we need to have the 2016 picks added by the time the 2014 draft is over and they become tradable. -> this week.


* at least, that's what i was told,; however, how do we add 2016 picks to rosters?
