Nail on the head. Why do extra work if i dont have to. If i can fix something with 1 trade, its all good. If i have to make multiple trades for a lateral move, not worth it. The cap this year sucks.

Iginla wouldn't be a centerpiece that would entice me to move either to be honest.

So you wouldnt be interested in Iginla + 1st + other piece for Sedin + other piece? other pieces being salary components.

While there is no doubting his production. Bringing in a 37 YO does little for the longterm goals I currently have, I see my team as being at least a couple years away before entering into some serious contender conversations, which at that point Iginla will be on the brink of retirement.
