kimmer wroteCOLONFT rankings OK... but I dont agree with all of it
IT takes in consideration of ALL SCORED categories that we use (I assume it will be different according every league's assigned scored categories) and in our particular one where FOW/SHTOI is considered, they assign equal amount of points into those combined with all other categories making up an overall best AVERAGE to determine score

The reason why Kesler is #1 right now is because he has 21 PIM 45 hits over crosby's 10 hits 10 PIM... and Giroux's 4 PIM 10 hits... not to mention they contribute nothing to SHTOI

So overall, it's going to swing back and forth between defensive centremen that put up 60+ points battling for that #1 spot on FT. Point totals seem to contribute very little from the looks of it, considering Crosby has 10 more pts than Kesler, but because of other categories, he still gets #3 but cannot be #1... i mean, it 10+ pt differential same in scoring value as 10+ PIM differential?... that's how I think Kesler gets #1 right now because MY GOD HE HAS MORE THAN 30+ hits 20+ PIM THAN CROSBY
Well said

LOL it's really funny tho... haha you have this inner urge to "correct" people instantaneously the moment you feel what you read immediately contradicts the fact you have researched... lol and then before you know it, you haven't really read the post in its genuinely intended form (in this case a joke). I think it's just your overly developed sense of logic (#engineerissues) taking over more than likely. Still funny whenever you do this

When did fantrax rankings become the way of gauging value?

That's what I figured but had a lot of offers lately saying mine are bad because of fantrax scores.......I mean I'm quite content to move Boyle for Backes or Malkin if we are gonna use them as a means of assessing value....

It is just a measure of indication as to how much players impact and contribute to our particular h2h categories overall. I think it's a decent tool for one to use between big time h2h guys of significance but not for 4th liner.

Not even to use the actual score as argument but a good gauging tool for ur of research and info when acquiring/trading top tier guys btwn contender teams for ur immediate impact/value ratio

so far everyone wants something but they don't want to give up anything. will probably keep him unless someone proves me wrong. only reason I made this block was due to high level on enquiries. quite happy keeping him.

Sadly that's what bbkl has become... It really wasn't like this before
People took risks not even to say they took a rape and risked it... Just some bold both way risk deals. Even decent laterals that looked risky due to age difference etc

Now it's like all the bottom teams are pretty much scared to make any sort of risky deals to avoid being called out but I aint afraid of that shit I'm proud to be the #1 most active trading gm here right now and if u look at my week 1 to week 7 roster I have improved my roster. Harder to improve with only 2 trading partners around nowadays but I hope people get going again

It's not just GMs not wanting to pay up it's also some GMs won't move a player unless they get an overpayment so when you have cheap GMs and greedy GMs trying to deal with each other the chance of a deal is slim. I have 10 trades since the season started and 65 in 16 months so if you want to make deals it's possible in this league.

trades are easy when everyone is reasonable, it's why i only trade with like 7 or 8 guys.
