Ladd would have been a great offer too. That would be tough

Ladd or Simmonds. I would have had to think on that one if i were anton

The thing is I can still compete for a playoff spot and i was never going to win it all this year...

All I did was sell The Darkness at what I hope to be his all time high value wise. iMO there is no chance that I get a drouin + picks in this upcoming draft for Simmonds to start the year. Its a bit risky on my behalf but the upside in drouin is tough to ignore.

I will say that if he wasn't playing in the NHL this year it's not a deal I would have made.
