For Cap reference
Re: For Cap reference
the problem is we've always wanted to include bonuses in the players' cap hits, which meant using AVV numbers on capgeek last version. Unfortunately Fantrax doesn't, and even http://stats.nhlnumbers.com/players?year=2015 I think doesn't have bonuses included for some players.
Provides the same numbers as capgeek when it comes to Saad and Gallagher though:

Re: For Cap reference
the thing is, i can't get on this archive site? and i dont think i'm the only one.
Re: For Cap reference
may someone that can access the archive site like I do tell if he noticed any different numbers on http://stats.nhlnumbers.com/players?year=2015 from capgeek's AVV? IIRC that is the case for some players, unfortunately
Re: For Cap reference
next season maybe?
Re: For Cap reference
we might have to.....
Re: For Cap reference
TBH I'd like to see us go the route of the NHL and burying contracts. Mike Richards salaray relief will only count for about 925k. The rest remains on the Kings payroll.
Re: For Cap reference
this site doesn't have minor league players posted....

Re: For Cap reference
That would hurt some teams bad around here. especially some of the better teams who have a lot of assets. I suppose it would help share the wealth and bring us close to NHL reality.Lee wroteCOLONTBH I'd like to see us go the route of the NHL and burying contracts. Re: For Cap reference
do we have a waiver free offseason? i thought we were just allowed to go 10% over the cap like the NHLLeanMachine wroteCOLONI mean like in the waiver-free offseason BBKL allows stashing right?
Re: For Cap reference
There is nothing in the summer. Go as much as you want. Be compliant come roster submission.
Re: For Cap reference
Does it really matter if we can bury 3 million dollar players in our minor system?

Re: For Cap reference
pretty easy to circumvent.
If over cap in off-season, stash a contract or two in the minors. Easy.

Re: For Cap reference
Can't stash those contracts once roster submission hits. All waiver eligible players must pass through waivers before the start of the season if you want them in your minors.
