Re: Looking for a 3rd

I agree the waiver pick and 6th was fine and that people struggling to get GP can be too picky. Thanks for the compliment too and if you look at the picks I own in the next two years it's pretty obvious I belong to the same school of thought as you in terms of their value. I feel bad for teams like Dallas since the previous owner didn't leave him with many picks so I can understand not wanting to part with a 3rd for a player that isn't going to improve his franchise. Not his fault Pete traded a 1st for Gibbons instead of more depth or a bunch of 3rds to acquire depth. If other teams miss GP and have a bunch of assets, but refuse to make trades for GP that's on them *cough* Lee *cough*CAM wroteCOLON I waived him at the beginning of the year at the same time everybody else waived there players. Im not claiming him to be a rockstar or even make my team but when people talk about others hoarding players in there minors while they dress rosters with players that are not even playing, thats an issue. It has to suck being penalized on your pick when games played is not met. I offered a waiver pick with a 6th as well instead. I would bet that since BBKL started there is way more talent picked in the first round of our waiver draft than all the third round picks combined. Its not a big deal. Love to see the results of every single player picked in the third round of BBKL since we started and see how many have played NHL games. If im sitting there with holes in my roster and i can get a warm body for a third round pick im all over it. I guess i am crazy. That is why I have no picks and that is why you have such a solid team now. You were handed a bunch of picks and this league over values picks so you cashed in on that and did an amazing job at it.
Sestito has probably the same chance of playing a bunch of NHL games as a 3rd rounder was what I was getting at since both are pretty low.
