After one of of he toughest schedules in the league the first half of of he season I've gone from being about 60 pts out of a playoff spot to currentl holding one. in the tougher eastern conference no less. Meanwhile all this talk bout buffalo, jersey, Montreal etc etc.

I've probably jinxed myself but whatever.
i've always loved your team, and hated to play against you. One of the best built teams in the bbkl, you've just had some of the worst luck i've ever seen.

Kovy
Burmi and others leave to go overseas.

Ya lol bro Matthew is jus nub in the league and doesn't have rly know about last history of our teams at all but considering does a fair job at this writing business. So we keep him around. Perhaps I shall sit with him sometime and teach him about each team history/its owners past glory and demise, significant roster changes etc to better his GWT article quality

Wasn't directed just at Mattew. It was more of a blanket statement as my teams not been getting much respect from anyone.

In fact, Matthew has at least noticed I'm making a bit of a run lol.

You still got a point per game per player. Not a bad start. Your team is stacked. I need to steal goalie cats in a big way. Be quite happy coming to a tie with you.
G stats would be enough for that... with Carter's injury and missing all his 4 games I probably already lost the little chances I had as far as periphs go..
I have less games scheduled as well as having Garrison active while injured. Should be ok.

harder to retool around here then is has been in the past, lots of teams seem to prefer standing pat, instead of making shake up deals (Shep & Steve not included).

Have I really failed to win in 6! weeks - 0-4-2 or something... wow. Shows the heavy impact of goal-tending.

When I was on my losing streak at the start of the year my goaltending too was atrocious. It certainly does make a big difference.

nah, that number includes Mazanec's games, but he is not a skater and back in AHL anyways..
is Garrison out all week though? that helps, should have a better chance at BS if anything, although Seabrook started off with 6

I have Leaf goalies, as well as Kadri + Gardiner. Jake`s numbers have been great, but the rest...ugh

Franson & Gardiner about the only players to improve their play since Randy left. I expected Morgan to start flying around, but he`s fairly predicatable in his route up the ice, not a stealthy player, yet.

I only had a small tiny doubt about franson back when bro shooker used to rip on him ever so badly on a daily basis, but a big mistake even lending ear to such non leaf fan, as I honestly think cody has capability to produce similar h2h stats as pk subban. Dude is a fuckin monster that refuses to show compassion in open ice and a monster of a clapper and a hard accurate wrister as well. He makes quick offensive decisions and is suited best for a Pittsburgh penguins-esq power play unit. I see him hitting 50 pts in a top tier club used wisely. Hes a type of asset that can infinitely produce points in a competent functioning club with top tier Powe play

Pay the man 5.5 million and keep him around

Kevin Hayes is one of my fav future pieces; i like watching the Rangers, Nash out there flying about and a really tough d-core to play against.

He's also a pylon defensively.

His own zone play has improved more then any other aspect IMO, however in the neutral zone his foot speed is still a major problem.

My only hope is for Rinne to steal 4 of the stats realistically. I've punted FOW this week, not that I had a shot.

Great write up as always!!! Much appreciated.

Since when do clubs have six complete dmen in their roster everyone has their goods and bads I mean even so how many 5m+ Cap hitted dmen actually show strength in both sides (green/wideman/carle/enstrom) all examples of overpaid offensively oriented dmen just sayin as we bitch and moan about leafs being bad, us as fans shud stop holding such high fuckin expectation/regard for our own guys we need to praise and reward the goods that come out and strengthen what we lack. Franson is no exception as I feel hes one of the most competent offensive dmen out there compared to rest of league and imo has more than enough respect from me to continue serving our club. Theyre all in this market, worthy of 5m+ as the leagues going rate. But seeing as I'm right and he will inevitably get paid next yr on, he's most likely the one to be traded as we all know
