FYI - the story-line of losing guys to KHL, although very real and shitty, when they are kinda always rumoured to be risks is somewhat a, "fool me once" situation. Plus we all have the hurdles to overcome.

My guys were never risks as far as I'm concerned.

Kovalchuk was the biggest surprise with his contract and production in the nhl. Sobotka was a shitty loss too. Burmistrov might actually be a blessing if he's developed in the K. Definitely sucks to lose a guy like Kovy though no doubt
