not in our league, and from my understanding not in the NHL either. Unless i missed something. But Bob Mckenzie apologized on-air in via a tweet saying that he was wrong and teams couldn't trade for players after the deadline and that Florida wasn't looking for a gaolie because if they traded for one that player could not play in the NHL.

So maybe prospects can be traded? i dont know, but that statement had me believe you cant trade players until the playoffs start.

Lots of confusion on this one but bottom line is any player can be traded after deadline but not eligible to play in reg season or playoffs.

You should be more interested in a talented goaltender, given that your team looks solid now. I was like 2-13, and then Dubnyk got traded to the Wild and I had a legitimate starter, and my team won 6 or 7 straight matches. If you could trade for a talented tender you would probably make the playoffs next season. Thats how I learned the value of goaltending in this league. 1 Player to make a world of difference.

I like my tending.

love how Matthew anoints his 25GP hot streak goalie as a "legitimate starter"; completely forgetting the facts that he's played on four teams and been through waivers in under a year.

Let's give it some time and see what happens during the playoffs.

lol logically speaking (all butt jokes aside) looking at MIN schedule, Dubnyk's hot steak contained alot of sub-.500 teams. All remaining games from now till the end of the season are against playoff teams or wild card race teams (except one leafs game).

Should have a better gauge on what exactly Dubnyk is by the end of this season.

Obviously not this good but not nearly what he was with that shithole Edmonton team; probably the most mismanaged franchis... Well toronto gives them a run too
